A fairly popular belief in Japan is that there is a connection between someone’s blood type and personality. There is no scientific evidence for it but there are nevertheless a number of publications on this theory and it is discussed on TV shows or elsewhere.
With this RLE and May 2020 TOK essay Prescribed Title #2, a student should look at how personalities are described and how they are explained by this the blood type theory.
Looking at the RLE and the Prescribed Title from a wider scope, a student could also look descriptions and explanations for the popularity of the blood type theory itself.

There a lot of different possible claims and counterclaims for any Prescribed Title and Real Life Example. Before thinking about counterclaims you need to decide on a solid claim that is directly linked to the Real Life Example and the Prescribed Title.
