Article: Doctor blames Andrew Wakefield and anti-vaxxers for her baby son catching measles

Despite the overwhelming scientific evidence showing the benefits of vaccinations, the anti-vaccination movement has grown in part to social media.

For government health care departments, planning for vaccination programs and long term budget cannot assume anymore that almost everyone will get vaccination. They must plan for “what if” situations where there are outbreaks of disease because of anti-vaxxers.
